About me
Welcome to Seaglass Events by Becca Hutchinson. I offer end-to-end project management, on-site events management, and charity events consultancy. I work remotely and across events up and down the UK.
My consultancy service is specifically aimed at charities who want to improve their events portfolio. This service benefits from my 10 years of experience in charity events teams. Across this time I worked for three of the UK's top charities, including British Heart Foundation, Guide Dogs and Alzheimer's Society.
Having been on the inside, I have the best possible perspective to understand the unique challenges of delivering charity products and events. I've worked with tricky stakeholders, had battles with databases and navigated mind-bending marketing permissions, so I really do 'get it'.
And if you're wondering where the name of my business came from, it is inspired by my local town, Seaham, which has some of the best coastline in the world to comb for seaglass. As a little girl, I spent many a summer at the beach with my grandparents, looking for the prettiest glass pebbles. Events can take you anywhere, so this way I can always bring a little bit of home with me.
